The restaurant „Aula“is located in the vaulted mediaeval premises of Vilnius University, in the heart of the Vilnius old town, Pilies street, between the Cathedral and the town hall. We have made an attempt to preserve the traditions of old Lithuanian kitchen considering contemporary taste. In 2012 during the solemn ceremony, taking place at Vilnius Town Hall, “Aula” was awarded as the most hospitable Vilnius restaurant.
A new-look menu of the restaurant “AULA“ continues old restaurant traditions formed since 1997 – an exclusive attention to the quality of products and freshness – new combinations of food products and forms of their representation are offered as well.
In the restaurant AULA a comfortable space for a small company can be found to have a business dinner. To have a good time when waiting for your order you are provided with a chance to enjoy the books on the shelves. During summer time a terrace in Pilies street and historical yard of Vilnius university is open for you.
All restaurant halls and gardens also have big TV sets or projectors were all live sport translations are shown.
In the cellar of the restaurant you will find two cellar halls. The VIP hall is designed for 10-15 people company that prefers intimate atmosphere for a nice evening. The VIP hall is provided with modern video and sound equipment. The cellar hall is usually used for bigger entertainments because here there is enough room not only to sit at the table but also to dance.
Henceforth restaurant „AULA“ is be adorable place not only for food, but also for music gourmets. In the cellar of the restaurant live music club “AULA Blues club” is located. Three music styles (jazz, blues and rock) are united in „AULA Blues club“. This project designed for people who like live music or want to relax in democratic atmosphere. Most of the concerts in “AULA Blues club” are for free.
