The Exposition of the Military Engineering and Transport Department of the Vytautas Magneto War Museum opened in 2008. November 4 At present, visitors can see over a hundred examples of the Lithuanian Armed Forces reflecting the period from 1990 to the present day.
The first ships of the Navy, "Vytis" and "Kiras" are displayed, armored warships, torpedo launchers, Lithuanian military motorcycles, various wheel and track equipment: armored vehicles, Dodge cars, small SUVs, benzinwizs, tanks T-55 and T -72, awarded by the Polish Ministry of Defense in 2006. The T-72s were used in January 1991 by storming the Vilnius TV Tower. In addition to the menacing military equipment, there is also an armed Mercedes-Benz car, which was driven by the first commander of a reborn State Armed Forces, a government run by Gediminas Vagnorius at that time. When an outdated technique is decommissioned or replaced by a new order, the two units of each type of equipment fall into this section of the museum.
